These boots were on sale when I bought them, so I'm totally stoked! I typically wear an 8 1/2 or 9, depending on the designer or brand. I've worn other Clark's (tall boots) and an 8 1/2 was almost too big, so I was unsure which way to go. But after reading these reviews, I opted to go for the 9 and they fit marvelously. The heel is amazing because it has the appearance of a higher heel but the stability and comfort of a lower heel! Gorgeous craftsmanship all the way down to the zipper pull. The combination of leather and suede is perfect as is the taupe color--it's a warmer tone but not beige or tan (and not gray). Hard to explain but very classy-looking in person. I'm watching and waiting for the navy color to go on sale, and I'm going to jump on the deal!
