Solids seems to be fine but for whatever reason, it’s picking up liquids weirdly.I used this scale for a few weeks mainly to measure wax and fragrance oils to make candles. I made a small batch so knew exactly how much wax I had so you can imagine my disappointment when I poured the melted wax into the jug with the scale under and it was showing half the number I was expecting.I took out my old scale and poured the melted wax into the same size jug and it showed the correct number almost double in weight compared to this scale!! I poured the wax back again with the scale underneath and it was showing half the expected numbers.Now I’m worried the last few batches of candles and wax melts have half the fragrance oils they should have, this isn’t good for business.If you use this scale for baking, candle making, any crafts that require accuracy, do double check yours is measuring correctly.Bought to track precise measurements for calorie counting, and it's absolutely perfect for it: convenient size, counts negative (for measuring how much you've taken from a container), touch of a button to zero it (so you can just add ingredients to a bowl one by one and zero it each time). Didn't expect anything this good for the price, even accurate at very low weights.Tempted to knock a star off for the units including milliliters, which are a measurement of MASS, not weight, but that's needlessly pedantic. Don't forget to divide your result by 1.03 if you're measuring milk! (or, as an alternative, get a life)I have been using the traditional old-school kitchen scale for as long as I remember. Until, thanks to Amazon mobile app’s reminder sending me a message that this scale was on sale. The lightning deal was around £7. So without hesitation, I bought it.Honestly, I don’t expect a lot for under a tenner kind of product. But, so far, I have to say it has exceeded my expectation.What a smallish and light this scale really is. I find that it’s very sensitive to even smallish amount of weight. The weight units can be changed to ml, gm, oz and lb. So when measuring, just make sure you use the correct weight unit.I love it that it can save different weight for different ingredients at the same time. Save you time from going back and forth resetting and writing down the measurements. It takes simple standard AAA batteries (included), which I really like.The only thing that annoys me is that it only display the weight for a very short time before turning off automatically. The readings fluctuated ups and downs too without even touching it. But once you put like a bowl on something on it, reset it to 0, it will be fine.But seriously for its price, you can’t really expect superior quality as the more expensive ones, can you?As long as it measures accurately, last a long time, worth every penny.BEST VALUE for money EVER!!Without a doubt the best value for money kitchen scale I have ever used.
