This book is a great introduction to a variety of current topics in today's schools, like school websites, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and cell phones. I'd recommend this book to administrators who are interested in promoting their school with social media but is unsure of way to start. The chapters are short, to the point, and easy to read. Dixon gives great advice for teachers and administrators. Although many topics are covered, it is not overwhelming. Dixon explains that you don't have to do everything, but start small and explore one media outlet, like a school Facebook page. Overall, I definitely enjoyed this book and I recommend that schools use it as a guide to promote their school and increase their social media presence.
